Originally from Fontana, Ashleigh has always loved helping people. With this altruism, she decided to embark on a journey to become an elementary school teacher. After studying at UNLV for a year, Ashleigh decided to transfer to UCR because she wanted to stay closer to home. At UCR, Ashleigh became a Liberal Studies major. She is currently a graduate student here at UCR in the Masters in Education Program. Besides working and studying, Ashleigh continues to enjoy life with other activities and hobbies. For one, Ashleigh loves going out to eat, especially to eat sushi and to drink chocolate shakes; she also loves all sweets. Ashleigh also loves to dance, particularly Polka dance. In fact, she was a member of the Mlakar Band Orchestra! In her spare time she also enjoys listening to 80’s and 90’s music, watching a good movie like Wayne’s World, or reading one of her favorite books such as Jane Eyre. Ashleigh also loves reality shows like Cupid. She loves cute animals, especially puppies. Ashleigh wants people to know that she loves her RHA/NRHH people. Her favorite saying is: “Fun, Fun, Fun!” That just about explains it.
